Noffsinger Insurance Agencies, Michigan-based firm providing residential and commercial clients in and around the Grand Rapids region with asset protection and financial planning services, is sponsoring a charity event in conjunction with Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids that promises to provide direct support to families facing cancer.

Gilda’s Club is a locally owned and operated nonprofit that provides free emotional care and support to children, adults, and friends who are facing cancer or who have lost a loved one to this deadly disease. Gilda’s Club offers group counseling programs to cancer survivors in a warm, residential setting and relies on private support and donations to operate.

“Gilda’s Club is a refuge for those fighting cancer as well as for their friends and family, and our goal is to help support this remarkable organization as they continue to work with cancer survivors in our area,” says chief executive and founder of Noffsinger Insurance Agencies, Mark Noffsinger.

Publicity for the Gilda’s club charity drive is planned in two stages: first, the Noffsinger team is connecting with local civic leaders, families, and cancer survivors over social media and email channels to share information on the event. Gilda’s Club is only the latest in a series of charity events hosted by Noffsinger Insurance Agencies on behalf of a growing number of Michigan based nonprofits.
